What is Festival Disney?
Festival Disney is a positive and educationally-meaningful music festival experience for talented middle, junior high and high school performers. Participation is open to concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching (parade) bands, orchestras, choral ensembles, show choirs and auxiliary units.
Specially selected, nationally-recognized adjudicators provide detailed, positive feedback to all ensembles through written and recorded comments, as well as personalized feedback clinics following concert performances. Directors can choose competitive and non-competitive adjudication options.

Who is eligible to perform at the Walt Disney World® Resort?
Participation is open to middle, junior high and high school concert bands, jazz ensembles, marching (parade) bands, orchestras, choral ensembles, show choirs and auxiliary units.
What is the selection process for the Festival Disney 2015 Program?
No audition is required. Complete the Festival Disney Application and submit it with your registration fee to Festival Disney.
Where will my group perform?
Performances take place within the Walt Disney World® Resort at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney's Hollywood Studios™ and Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island
How long is the average performance? 20 - 25 minutes performance.
Choral Ensembles
20-minute set-up and warm-up, 20-minute performance, 10-minute clinic
Instrumental Ensembles
25-minute set-up and warm-up, 25-minute performance, 10-minute clinic
Auxiliary Ensembles (i.e Indoor Guard, Marching Percussion, Dance/Baton, etc))
Total set-up and performance time must not exceed 10-minutes
Parade Bands
Bands are scheduled to step-off in 5-minute intervals.
The ensemble must keep forward motion through the adjudication area.
Do our students need money once inside the park?
Your students will need spending money for food and souvenir merchandise.
What about the directors?
Our packages include two complimentary double occupancy director packages.
What about the chaperones?
One complimentary chaperone package at the double occupancy rate is provided to you for every 15 student packages purchased. All other chaperones may purchase the package at the student rates.
Does the package include admission to the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks?
All of our packages include admission to the theme parks. Ask your Travel Planner for details.
Do I need motorcoach transportation?
Rather you stay on or off Disney property; you will need private transportation to and from all Festival Disney activities. Please ask your Travel Planner about adding Transportation to your package. 1st Stop Group Travel Planners can assist you with Local Transportation and Charter Transportation from your home town.
How do we know where specifically to arrive and depart from Festival Disney 2015?
Prior to your performance, you will be sent an information packet including everything there is to know about your Festival Disney experience including specific arrival and departure locations.
Who do we call if we need assistance in Orlando?
When you book with 1st Stop Group Travel Planners, your group is assigned an Operations Team who will assist you from your arrival at your hotel to departure. You will meet members of the Team at the hotel upon arrival, if applicable.
