The 2012 competition will host three divisions:
- 14 years old and Under (Examples: Community Centers, Elementary & Middle School Step Teams, etc.)
- 19 years old and Under (Examples: Community Centers, High School Step Teams, etc.)
- 18 years old and Up (Examples: Community Colleges, Club Teams, Fraternities & Sororities, etc.)
The Disney Step Classic 2012 takes place at The Premiere Theater ins Disney's Hollywood Studios®. This is an indoor 900 seat state-of-the-art theater located at the end of San Francisco Street in the Backlot area of
Disney's Hollywood Studios®
Eligibility
- Home base of your Team must be located within the fifty (50) United States (excluding Arizona and Vermont) or the District of Columbia.
- The Team must be a step team of not less than ten (10) nor more than thirty-five (35) members
- The Team must be within one (1) of the above three divisions. Teams falling with multiple divisions must choose one or the other (and may not compete in multiple categories).
- A team may be of mixed gender,
No audition is required.
- Complete the attached application and submit it by December 16, 2012 .
- Select a package from below or to customize your own call a Travel Planner.
All Packages include:
- 12 minutes adjudicated performance on stage (time includes stage entrance/set-up, performance and exit).
- Performance adjudicated by judges from the National Step Show Alliance (NSSA)
- MasterStep Workshops hosted by NSSA
- Disney Step Classic Award for all competing step teams
- Disney Step Classic Award Ceremony
